In 2007 I was commissioned to design the exterior surface of a Le Mans race car for the British team ” Creation Autosportif Ltd” . The car was released to a global television audience of 386 million viewers at the 75th running of the event at Le Mans
Attached is a ‘first look’ at the newly created model “Children of le Mans” Creation CA07-Judd as it appeared at Le Mans 24 hours last year. The model pays strong attention to detail and is amazingly accurate from all angles, showing all artwork clearly.
In May the 1/43rd scale metal model will be made available for sale globally through Spark Models all good model stores

“Waterfront Wednesdays”

This piece is based sacred geometry or 1.618…….. an example being - if you measure the inside of your arm opposite your elbow to your palm, then multiply it by 1.618 you get to the end of your fingers - this measurement has hundreds of references all over our body, nature and the universe, that is why it is called sacred geometry or sacred to us

If you measure
- the top of painting to the top of the brick wall that is 1 measure of 1.618 to the bottom of the canvas
- form the bottom of the canvas to the base of Rangatoto (a volcanic island in Auckland harbour) that is 1 measure of 1.618 to the top of the canvas
- from the left one measure is the peak of Rangatoto of 1.618 to the right of the canvas etc etc
This is why the painting looks balanced as we are so used to seeing those proportions in ourselves and in nature.
The women has a titled head (we know as alluring) blonde ( most see it as beautiful) trendy dress (modern), red dress (red for emotion). For the quirky/my brand factor I have a Auckland city skyline hat (took so many hours), altered body shape, long neck, knobbly knees, odd shape pram, the pram wheel is slightly oval titling forward to give the illusion of movement, and of course they are moving left to right as that is what we are most comfortable with as we read left to right, also we associate that with moving into the future
In addition I have placed sublimal images within the brickwork of the wall and then used many transparent layers across the top, some folk can notice them, most cannot
